Audition Fees:
Audition Fee is $8.00 for District Audition and is due on
or BEFORE the audition day.
All State is $10:00 and DUE the date of the audition if the
student scores in the top 25 of their section and desires to audition for All
State
Dates of Auditions: Saturday, September 25, 2010
To be held at Central High School-Springfield, MO
Audition Process: Each student should prepare 1 1/2 to 2 minutes of a
Contest style solo. Does not have to be memorized, may use music. Should be
accompanied. Students will also have to sight-read. Once All District is
selected, the All State audition will be THE SAME DAY for the top 25 students
in each voice classification. All State Audition tune will be: Exultate
Justi(Sing Ye Righteous) by Viadanna. Students will audition with the C.D.
recording. CD's are available at Missouri Choral Directors website.
